The bow barge Victoria-S first saw light in 1876, at a shipyard in the township of Roodevaart. In order to be able to transport cargo over the Dutch canals in the years to come, the ship was given a major rebuild in 1898. It was not until 1996 that this traditional barge got turned into a charter ship, with skipper Michael as being her proud owner.
