Our suggestion for a short weekend trip

Once you set foot aboard the ship, a warm welcome and short briefing by the captain and crew awaits. We then lift the anchor and head for the Wadden Island Terschelling, which we will reach within 3,5 hours.
At arrival, there will be plenty of time left to explore the island.
As it comes to bars, dancings and restaurants, Terschelling surely has a lot to offer. For those seeking peace and tranquility, we suggest a long walk on of the many the beautiful beaches.

Around 10 AM, we ready ourselves for the journey home, but not after a little detour to the seals on the sand bank between Vlieland and Terschelling.
This sand bank is home to over 50 seals and the skipper will do his very best to sail by the animals as close as possible.
We then return to Harlingen, where we arrive around 5 PM.

Catering

All of our ships are comfortably fitted with a well-equipped kitchen, in which you can prepare your own snacks and meals during the trip.
Should you not want to worry about cooking, then Rederij Vooruit will happily take care of catering for you. Whether this concerns a delicious lunch of soup and sandwiches or even a barbecue on deck, we will always try to meet your requests.

We also offer our guests the possibility to have a cosy meal in De Admirael in Harlingen; our restaurant in home port Harlingen.
Here you can enjoy a nice fondue- or gourmet dinner, before or after your sailing trip.
