Sailing with young people
For sailing with young people, Rederij Vooruit is the place to be.
For years, we have organized the best sailing vacations on the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea from Harlingen.
Relaxation and education are combined during a school outing that will be talked about for a long time.

Sailing with youth
Working together on the boat strengthens young people’s social skills through play.
Learning from each other, but in a casual atmosphere and relaxed environment.
During the sailing trip, students are challenged to help sail.
Experience is not necessary, as there is a skipper and sailor on board each ship to teach them all the tricks of the trade.
Help hoist the sails, pull in the anchor or let the children take the helm themselves.
Sleeping on a traditional ship
In style, students spend the night in a ship’s cabin.
All shared rooms are equipped with a sink with running water, central heating, 220V and a small reading lamp.
On board you can also use showers and toilets. So for sanitation, you are not dependent on a port and going dry is a nice option!
Catering
Of course it is also possible to cater your own meals.
Each ship has a kitchen with the necessary kitchen utensils and with a view to working together, cooking yourself is a nice alternative. Washing the pies and cutting the onions together, and afterwards clearing the tables and doing the dishes.
Rederij Vooruit is also happy to take care of the catering or help you compile the shopping list.
