Day trip sailing
From 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Enjoy the Netherlands from the water

Everything looks different from the water and a whole new world will open up. The Frisian landscape is renown for its practically untouched nature reserves and breathtaking views.
Charming lakes such as the Sneeker Lake and the Sloter Lake are perfect for great sailing trips and all kinds of water sports. Combine your day trip or sailing vacation with a stop in one of the many scenic fishing villages and cities alongside the water.
Popular amongst our guests, is a trip to the Wadden Islands, for example Terschelling or Vlieland. You might even see seals on your way to the islands!

Another sailing favourite is crossing the sluices in the famous Afsluitdijk.
You can either sail from the Wadden Sea to Lake IJssel or the other way around, while having a good look at how a sluice works.

In other words, plenty of inspiration for a day trip sailing in the Netherlands!

Catering

All of our ships are comfortably fitted with a well-equipped kitchen, in which you can prepare your own snacks and meals during the trip.
Should you not want to worry about cooking, then Rederij Vooruit will happily take care of the catering for you. Whether this concerns a delicious lunch of soup and sandwiches or even a barbecue on deck, we will do our very best to meet your requests.

We also offer our guests the possibility to have a cosy meal in De Admirael in Harlingen; our own restaurant in home port Harlingen. Here you can enjoy a nice fondue- or gourmet dinner, before or after your trip.
