Step aboard the wonderful sailing stevenak Tsjerk Hiddes from Rederij Vooruit in the Netherlands! Enjoy the Dutch landscapes and views from a traditional sailing ship, while relaxing on deck with your family and friends.
The impressive Tsjerk Hiddes was built in 1881 as a cargo sailor and returned to service in 1994 as a sailing passenger ship.
Sailing, comfort and space go hand in hand on this very beautiful stevenaak. The crew is looking forward to take you on a journey across the Wadden Sea and the IJsselmeer.
The monumental clipper Tsjerk Hiddes was built in the year 1881.
She served as a sailing cargo, after which she was fitted with a motor and went on to transport cargo. The final remodelling saw her transformed into the modern charter ship that sails the Wadden Sea and Lake IJssel today.
The upper deck of the Tsjerk Hiddes is outlined by a high railing and spacious gangways. Furthermore, a cosy seating area invites you to sit back and relax and offers great views over the sea from every corner.
Below deck, the elegant day room supplies you with sorts of entertainment, such as a stereo set and a cd-player. Whenever it is too cold inside, the central heating will make sure there is a pleasant temperature below deck. This makes the Tsjerk Hiddes an excellent choice for off-season sailing trips through the ever changing Dutch landscape.
The kitchen provides everything you need to make your own meals during the trip. Here a large stove, an oven, a fridge, a freezer unit, 2 sinks and a coffee machine are at your disposal, as well as an assorted range of pots, pans, plates, cutlery and glasses. To really get the party started, have a beer from the tap!
