Sailing family weekend

Whereas a family day often focuses on the sailing trip, a sailing weekend is perfect for additional activities. For example, how about a visit to the Wadden Islands or falling dry with the ship!

Friday evening you are welcome on board from 20:00 hours, ask us about the possibilities if you wish to embark earlier.

Saturday morning we raise the sails for an active trip to Vlieland. This popular island invites you to get a breath of fresh air on the beach or enjoy a terrace in the friendly village of Oost-Vlieland. Fun for young and old; climbing lighthouse Vuurboetsduin!
Terschelling and Ameland are also highly recommended, the crew is happy to tip you off to the most beautiful sailing routes and will gladly accommodate your wishes.

On Sunday, we take a look at the seal bank between Ameland and Terschelling, where as many as 50 to 70 seals usually stay.
On the way we have a nice lunch above deck and around 17:00 hours the skipper moors again in Harlingen.

Catering on board

Our ships are equipped with a well-equipped kitchen, where you can prepare your own snacks and meals during the weekend in comfort.

If you don’t feel like standing in the galley yourself, Rederij Vooruit will be happy to take the catering off your hands. Whether it’s an extensive lunch or a tasty barbecue on deck, we think along with you.
You can also join us before or after the family weekend in our fondue and gourmet restaurant De Admirael in Harlingen, feel free to ask us about the many possibilities.

The costs depend on the ship you choose.
On the individual pages of the ships you will find detailed information as well as the availability per ship.
