Combine sailing with other activities
When sailing the Wadden Sea, the following activities are a great addition to your trip:
- a sailing trip to the Wadden Islands
- a guided tour by Staatsbosbeheer (Dutch National Forest Service)
- a guided tour on tidal zones by the Wadden Association
- spotting seals on the sandbanks near the islands
- crossing the sluices of the Afsluitdijk to Lake IJssel
- falling dry with the ship (tides dependent)
On board stay in a ship’s cabin
Extend your company outing with a unique stay on board!
Most ships of the brown fleet have their former cargo hold transformed into a living space, equipped with a day room, a kitchen, sanitary facilities and cabins.
For a good night’s sleep, all cabins are fitted with comfortable bunk beds, a sink, central heating and a reading light.
Catering
Each ship is furnished with a well-equipped kitchen, where you prepare your own snacks and meals during the trip. However, if you don’t feel like standing behind the stove yourself, we can also take care of the entire catering for you. Whether you are thinking of a simple lunch or an extensive barbecue on deck.
We also like to open the doors of our fondue and gourmet restaurant De Admirael in Harlingen especially for our guests.

The costs depend on your choice of ship, optional catering wishes and activities.
