On board the Pallieter you can fully enjoy sailing, relaxation and nothing but freedom!
Pallieter means “carefree bon vivant” and is therefore the ideal choice for a wonderful sailing trip or sailing holiday on the Wadden Sea and the IJsselmeer.
Built as a seaworthy ship to sail on the former Zuiderzee, this beautiful single-masted barge rolled off the jetty in 1899 at the Draaisma yard in Franeker.
Designed with a fast hull, the Pallieter is happy to show you the real sailing and she knows how to cut through the turbulent waves like no other.
From the spacious cockpit you have a magnificent view over the water during the sailing trip. There is more than enough space on deck to stretch your legs and of course enjoy sailing to the fullest.
You can stand anywhere below deck and the modern day room invites you to relax and have breakfast or dinner together. A radio plus a CD player also add extra atmosphere to a pleasant evening with friends and family.
On inclement days, you can turn up the central heating, which means that the Pallieter can also be used for sailing in the colder seasons.
djacent to the day room you will find a well equipped galley where you can prepare your own snacks and meals in comfort.
Here you will find a generous 6-burner gas stove, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a freezer and all necessary cooking utensils such as pans, plates, crockery and cutlery.
And don’t feel like cooking? Then a barbecue on deck is our absolute must!
The luxury cabins are equipped with a sink with hot and cold running water, 220V, a reading lamp and storage space.
