An adventurous sailing holiday on a ship is the way to take a break in your own ‘bubble’. All comforts are on board, private sanitary facilities and enough space for provisions for several days.
The guest house of the Medusa feels warm, spacious and light due to the materials and colors used. Above deck you will find a safe and practical interior with an original look, so you will undoubtedly feel at home quickly aboard the Medusa!

On the Medusa we offer you day trips with a maximum of 28 people. On multi-day trips, a maximum of 20 people can join.
Sailing with the Medusa
The sailing area is the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea, so you can choose from various departure ports, such as Harlingen, Kampen, Enkhuizen or Stavoren. Sailing on the Medusa is a sustainable holiday in your own country, because the energy for propulsion is generated by the sails. The fossil fuel used for maneuvering in the ports is compensated.
Because the Medusa is equipped with auxiliary winches, it is possible for everyone to actively work with the sails. In addition, there is time enough for relaxation and to enjoy beautiful views. In consultation with the skipper, you determine the sailing route for a wonderful sailing experience!
On board the Medusa
The Medusa is furnished with a cozy day room with an open kitchen that invites you to prepare delicious meals. If you prefer, a professional chef can also accompany you. The cabins are equipped with 2 meters long beds. Bed linen is provided as standard. Two toilets and two showers complete the interior!
