Built in the year 1898, the Hagenaar Marinde is one of the oldest ships of our fleet.
Hagenaars are typical Dutch ships, built specifically to pass the low bridges in the Hague. When trade over water came to an end, the owners decided to ready the Marinde for a career as a charter boat.
Formerly known as de Vriendschap, she gained her current name in 2019 under new owners. Skipper Jeroen loves the outdoors and will show you the true beauty of the Wadden Sea, the Wads and Lake IJssel.
Whether you wish to plan a family trip or a weekend out on the sea, the Marinde promises nothing but a good time.
The deck invites you to lean back and enjoy the endless views over the Dutch landscape. Here, you can take part in actually sailing the ship or simply relax while the salty wind blows through your hair.
In the cosy day room below deck, comfortable seats surround the wooden tables. A radio and CD-player will set the mood and central heating keeps the room on a pleasant temperature during the colder periods. This means the Vriendschap also lifts its anchor off-season, for those who want to sail a different kind of trip.
The ship’s kitchen supplies you with everything you need to make your own snacks an meals. A stove, an oven, 2 fridges and a sink at at your disposal, as well as all necessary pots, pans, plates, cutlery and glasses.
On request, we can even provide you with a beer tap!
All cabins have their own sink with running water, a reading light and storage space for your personal belongings. You can turn on the central heating when it gets chilly and a little port hole can be opened to let in fresh air.
On board, for your convenience, you will find 2 toilets and 1 shower.
All cabins with running water, all cabins with central heating.
