Margot

With a length of 32 metres and a width of 6, clipper Margot is one of the most spacious ships of our fleet.

A disastrous fire in 2012 left the owners no other choice than starting over and completely rebuilding the ship. Eventually, after heavy reconstructing, a new and a fresh interior marked a new chapter for the Margot.

Today, she proudly sails the Wadden Sea, Lake IJssel and the Frisian Lakes again. So come lift the anchor with the Margot and experience true sailing aboard a traditional ship.

Aboard the Margot

The owners gave her a modern interior, but made sure the Margot would keep the atmosphere of the old days. For those who fully want to enjoy the sailing trip, a spacious seating area on deck offers the best view over the water. Here you can sit back with a drink and let the beautiful Dutch landscape pass by.

Below deck, the elegant day room supplies you with all sorts of entertainment, such as a surround stereo set and a flatscreen. This makes the Margot a unique solution when it comes to finding a location for your business meeting or corporate lunch. Central heating will keep you warm on colder days, simply turn up the heat for a pleasant temperature in the room.

Additionally, the ship’s kitchen is equipped with a professional horeca stove, an oven, a high speed dishwasher, a fridge and a coffee machine.
Also all necessary cooking utensils like, for example, plates, pots, pans, cutlery and glasses are available for use. And to really get the party started, Rederij Vooruit can also supply the ship with a beer tap!

Each cabin has its own sink with hot and cold running water, a reading light and storage space for your belongings. Besides central heating, for your comfort, the cabins also have floor heating.

The Margot has on board sanitary facilities; 3 showers and 2 toilets.
