Mallejan
The tjalk Mallejan is one of the longest sailing charter ships in our country. The Mallejan is an excellent choice for a sailing trip or sailing holiday in our own country!
On board the Mallejan
Above deck is a spacious deck and at the helm is a cozy sitting area, also ideal for when children are sailing along. The ship is equipped with a high railing all around, so that you can move safely and easily over the deck.
The day room exudes the cozy atmosphere of a living room and is perfect for breakfast and dinner together. The spacious sitting area with table invites you for long conversations with a good glass of wine or reading a book from the extensive on-board library. In addition to central heating, you can also turn on the wood stove for a pleasant temperature in the room. This makes it possible to make a sailing trip with the Mallejan during the colder seasons.
In the ship’s kitchen you will find a gas stove, a refrigerator, a freezer, an oven and all necessary cooking utensils, such as pans, cutlery and crockery. This way you have everything within reach to prepare your own meals and, of course, preferably eat them on deck. A barbecue is standard at your disposal and to complete the party we are happy to put a beer tap on board for you. You can easily order cask beer in advance and we also provide an excellent catering service for, for example, the above-mentioned barbecue!
The cabins are equipped with comfortable bunk beds and are equipped with heating, a sink and sufficient storage space for your luggage. For your convenience, all beds are fully made up for you; you do not need to bring your own duvet or sleeping bag.
De Mallejan has 2 toilets and 2 showers. You are therefore not dependent on a port when you want to use sanitary facilities.
