The monumental clipper Iselmar was built in the year 1902.
She served as a sailing cargo vessel until 1935, after which she was fitted with a motor and went on to transport cargo until 1990. A final remodelling saw her transformed into the modern charter ship that sails the Wadden Sea and Lake IJssel today.

The upper deck of the Iselmar is outlined by a high railing and spacious gangways. Furthermore, a cosy seating area invites you to sit back and relax and offers great views over the sea from every corner.
Below deck, the elegant day room supplies you with sorts of entertainment, such as a stereo set, a cd-player, books and a lot of games. Whenever it is too cold inside, the central heating will make sure there is a pleasant temperature below deck. This makes the Averechts an excellent choice for off-season sailing trips through the ever changing Dutch landscape.
All cabins have their own sink with hot and cold running water, central heating, a small reading light and sufficient storage space for your bags and belongings.
The kitchen provides everything you need to make your own meals during the trip. Here a large stove, an oven, a fridge, a freezer unit, 2 sinks and a coffee machine are at your disposal, as well as an assorted range of pots, pans, plates, cutlery and glasses. To really get the party started, have a beer from the tap!
Finally, the Iselmar offers on board sanitary facilities of 4 toilets and 3 showers.
