Antonia

The Antonia is a sturdy and well-built two-masted clipper. Renovated in 2015, she was all set to weigh the anchor as a charter ship on the Wadden Sea, Lake IJssel and the Frisian Lakes.

Skipper Heidy loves adventure and the outdoor life. She will give you the warmest stay on board and happily shares with you her stories about the sea.

Besides being a great ship in appearance, the remarkable rigging makes her an extraordinary sight to see. When sailing on the Antonia, you’re truly sailing on an authentic piece of work.

Aboard the Antonia

The large seating area on deck of the Antonia offers a truly magnificent view on the water. High ship’s rails and wide aisles make it a great ship for sailing trips with family, friends and little kids.

The cosy day room provides you with an extensive library and also a lot of games. Central heating keeps the room warm when temperatures drop in the evening, or when you choose to sail during the colder months.

All cabins have a sink with hot and cold running water, a small reading light and sufficient storage space for your luggage and personal belongings.
The comfortable beds are made with mattress covers, pillows and pillow cases. Duvets can be rented at Rederij Vooruit for € 15,00 a piece, or simply bring your own sleeping bag.

The kitchen is equipped with a large gas stove, an oven, 2 fridges, a freezer unit and a coffee machine. Also all necessary cooking utensils such as pots, pans, cutlery and tableware are there for your convenience. To really get the party started, the ship is also fitted with a bar, a Green Egg barbecue and a beer tap!

Sanitary facilities can be found on board, the ship does not have to be docked when you need to use the toilets and shower. The Antonia has 3 toilets as well as 2 showers.
