Midweek
Sunday 8 PM to Friday 3 PM.
A warm welcome awaits you on Sunday evening at 8 PM.
The captain and his crew introduce themselves, give you a tour and explain to you the basics of sailing.
At 10 the next morning we lift the anchor and head to the Wadden Island Texel. One of the most popular attractions to visit on Texel is Ecomare; an info centre that will teach you everything about nature in the Wads and the Wadden Islands.
On Tuesday, we will find ourselves a good spot to fall dry with the ship and make an extraordinary walk over the bottom of the sea.
The following day takes us through the sluices of the Afsluitdijk to Lake IJssel and the city of Enkhuizen.
We cross the lake on Thursday, to moor in the port of in the fishing village of Makkum.
On the last day, we set sail to Harlingen on Friday, where we will arrive around 3 PM.
All of our ships are fitted with a kitchen, where you can easily prepare your own snacks and dinner during the sailing trip. Here you can find all necessary cooking utensils, such as a stove, an oven, a fridge, pans, plates, glasses and cutlery.
Whenever you do not feel like doing your own cooking, Rederij Vooruit will happily take care of all catering for you. Whether this concerns just lunch or even a full barbecue on deck!
