Nothing more romantic than getting married on a ship, toast Champagne on deck with your loved ones and sail into the sunset together!
Our traditional ships are the perfect decor for a whimsical ceremony and allow up to 60 wedding guests to enjoy the party on board. We also offer the option of sailing back to port with your day guests, to dock with another ship and continue the festivities with the evening guests. To really treat your friends and family to something special, we will even lift the anchor again for a short sailing trip over the Wadden Sea.
Marriage is the absolute highlight of a love story, and Rederij Vooruit would be honoured to be part of your big day.
Iselmar
The Iselmar is a breathtaking clipper from the year 1902, impressing with her luxurious interior of varnished wood and a surprising amount of space. During the wedding ceremony and on the following sailing trip, the Iselmar easily offers room for up to 60 guests to move around comfortably. Below deck, divided over 13 cabins, 34 persons can stay for the night.
Koh-I-Noor
From the year 1904, the coast cruiser Koh-I-Noor truly is the cherry on the cake. The elegant ship is fitted with two cosy day rooms below deck, and stylishly decorated offers room up to 60 guests. For your convenience, all 9 cabins, accommodating 24 persons in total, have their own toilet and shower unit.
Wedding package
| 15:00 | Welcoming the wedding guests Guests are welcomed aboard the ship in Harlingen or a port agreed on beforehand, to enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or glass of soda. |
| 15:30 | Wedding ceremony The wedding couple boards the ship and a romantic (on deck) ceremony follows. |
| 16:30 | A toast to the happy couple After the “I do’s”, it’s time for cake and a toast! We then lift the anchor for a lovely sailing trip over the Wadden Sea, while enjoying each other’s company. |
| 18:00 | Walking dinner on board During the sailing trip, a delicious walking dinner is served. Whether you wish to treat your guests to a Mediterranean buffet, homemade Dutch dishes or tasty bites from the grill. When dinner is done, we move the tables aside and get ready for a party to remember! |
| 24:00 | Return to port As all good things come to an end, we will dock again around midnight and part ways with those who are not staying for the night. |

The costs for this package are € 95,00 per person. This price only applies when charging 40 guests or more.
