Suggestions

Making the bachelorette completely crazy is of course the most important thing!
Think for example of the following chores:

• letting him swab the deck in a sailor suit or chambermaid’s outfit
• having the bachelorette hoist the swords (usually there is an electric motor on it, but of course we turn it off for the occasion)
• or put the bachelorette on deck with a karaoke set and have him sing along loudly to hits from Jan Smit, ABBA etc.

To get the day off to a good start, we recommend that the bachelorette puts on a life jacket as soon as he or she arrives. Nothing more awkward than having to sit in the car dressed in a life jacket and perform all the planned activities!

You can easily prepare your own meals and snacks in the well-equipped kitchen. However, Rederij Vooruit is also happy to cater your bachelor party, such as our popular barbecue on deck!
In addition, most ships have a beer tap, if this is not the case we will put one on board for you.

How to serve drinks in style:

• Poleponze
  “A certain preservative prepared from Brandewyn, suyker, nutmeg and lemon juice, with which they invigorate those none who fall ill at sea.”
• Freshwater sailor
  Also a proven remedy for seasickness; put three shot glasses of gin in a cup, pinch the nose shut and drink the cup empty in one gulp.
