Brandarisrace 2021
The annual Brandarisrace is a Dutch sailing race to the island of Terschelling, with over 80 traditional sailboats battling for the title.
The race is named after the “Brandaris”; a Terschellinger lighthouse of over 400 years old.
Rederij Vooruit invites you to step aboard and help the crew cross the finish line first, with our most fanatic skippers leading the way. Signing up is open to all ranges of experience and having a background in sailing is not necessary; the crew will teach you all there is to know about sailing.
With numerous titles already gracing the fleet, no doubt Rederij Vooruit has the best chance of winning the Brandarisrace again!

Program
Friday
Around 8 PM, a warm welcome awaits you aboard in Harlingen. Here you will meet the captain, his crew and your fellow sailing team, and together we will raise our glass to a successful race.
Saturday
Saturday morning begins with a delicious breakfast below deck, with fresh tea and coffee to kick off the day. We then sail to the the start of the track and line up with the other participating ships. The horn sounds and an exciting race follows! Afterwards, the award is presented to the fastest ship, and we will celebrate the winner during a big party until the lights go out.
Sunday
After breakfast and lunch, we slowly head for Harlingen again, where we will dock around 5 PM.
Charter costs
The price for this deal is € 245,00 per person.
This includes a shared cabin, single rooms are available for an additional fee.
