About the Hollandia

Set sail with the Hollandia on the Waddensea and the IJsselmeer. A wonderful way to explore the open water with friends, family, colleagues or individually.

This luxury barge, built in 1913, has been completely rebuilt for sailing with your group. On deck is the perfect place to enjoy sailing and see the beautiful view of the Waddensea and the IJsselmeer. The ship is ideal for little children. Inside there is a cozy lounge and a cozy bar below deck. From the lounge there is unobstructed view to the outside so that even with bad weather the environment can be enjoyed.

Of course there can be slept in the newly renovated cabins. During a day trip there is room for 40 people and when you go sailing overnight there are 23 beds on board. All include a quilt and pillow. And there are mattresses, mattress covers, pillows and pillowcases.

Sailing on board of the Hollandia requires no sailing experience and is a perfect way for friends, families and colleagues enjoying a trip like this. In the winter it can be used as a hotel ship ship, meeting room or for a winter sailing trip.

In the galley: On board of each ship there is a kitchen where you can find a stove, refrigerator, assorted pots and pans, cutlery, crockery and glasses available. You can take care of yourself on board of all ships.

In 1234, Harlingen gained its city rights and 1644 saw the Dutch Admiralty move from Dokkum to the blooming Frisian harbour. Craftsmanship and industry formed the city’s main business. Numerous…
